At TAX Economistas y Abogados we are the largest consultancy firm in Barcelona and Catalonia, and one of the most important ones in Spain. We are specialised in advice and management of small and medium companies in the areas of tax, labor, accounting, legal, audit, formalities and insurance brokerage.
It was founded in August 1988 in the city of Figueres (Girona) by Joan Gironella, economist and training auditor. From 1991, we started our development by opening new offices of our own. Given the good results, in 1994 we launched the policy of expansion through the franchise system. In 1995, we opened our first franchised offices in Catalonia, and our expansion to the rest of the peninsula began in 1996, creating the Grupo TAX Economistas y Abogados group.
We do not renounce our origins and continue to maintain our headquarters in Figueres, despite having become the largest consultancy in Barcelona and Catalonia and a reference in the whole peninsula in terms of advice and management to small and medium-sized companies.

More than 35 years of experience
Founded in 1988 in the village of Figueres (Girona) by Joan Gironella, economist and auditor. Tax Economists and Lawyers has specialized in managing and assessing small and medium businesses in the tax, labor, accounting, legal, audit and insurance.
In 1991 TAX started its development by opening new own offices. Given the good results it was achieving, in 1994 the expansion policy started through franchises. In 1995 TAX opened its first franchised office in Catalonia and its growth in the rest of the peninsula began in 1996, creating the Tax Economists and Lawyers Group.
